Our Mission

  • Funding music education for young people
  • Raising awareness of the importance of music education in our world
  • Preserving Jazz Music & Culture through our fundraising events

The Music Never Stops Foundation was founded in 2009 by music students, music teachers, parents of music students and concerned musicians in the local community to provide greater access to music education.

Our mission is to support talented youth by providing scholarships and grants to deserving music students under the age of eighteen who would not otherwise have a funding source for music lessons and related music education.

Our goal is to raise and increase awareness about the importance of musical environments such as privately operated music schools, public schools, colleges and universities who provide opportunities for young musicians to explore and develop their talents and musical skills. The fabric of our musical culture is rooted in the musicians we celebrate and the music they’ve given us.  Without the availability for music education, the youth of our communities and the future of our musical culture will suffer.

Jazz music is integrated into the institutional process of music education found in high school, college, university and other community music programs.  MNSF will hold fundraising events aimed at featuring prominent jazz artists and young musicians involved in community jazz programs.  Proceeds from these events will be used to assist the scholarship funding we offer.
